Our Chief End

What is our chief end in life? What do we want our life to be know for? Do we want to be known for being a great husband or wife, or being a great athlete? Its crazy how many things you could think of that you may want your life to be known for. But what is our chief end. What should be living for?

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
(1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV)

That verse pretty much sums it up. Our end is to Glorify God. To give God the praise in our life. Our lives should scream believer of Christ. For some of us, some would question if we even go to church. Why is that because we are not living out this verse. We are not glorifying God in all we do. We don’t even recognize God when He moves in our life. We don’t show Gods light to the world and most of our works are for evil.

16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that[a] they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew  5:16 ESV

What’s another way we can recognize God moving in our life, how about when God moves we celebrate and declare God’s work. When God answers a prayer do we glorify God or do we just move on? Do we glorify God when He breaks someone to the point they realize their sin and come to Christ. Or do we act if its a human choice and celebrate the choice. There are so many ways we miss out on glorifying God in our daily lives. For the air we breath, the food we eat, the family we have. We miss so many chances. So remember glorify God in your life, let the world know what your end in life is. To Glorify God. The only way to salvation. Let the world know that Christ is the risen King. Our Chief End.

As always thanks for reading.
