Sermon Notes 5/28 Ruth 2

Ruth Chapter 2

God has a plan beyond your brokenness, so keep moving forward.
Christians are not immune to dark times, to valleys.
The brokenness is when God gets the most glory.
We live in a broke flawed world, over shadowed by sin.
Our Journey is not over.
If you have breath in your lungs God is not done yet.
In our weakness God is made perfect.
Psalm 30:5 Joy comes in the morning

Boaz- In him is power

In Gods plan, he lovingly brought Naomi to the field Boaz owned
Ephesians 2:10 – God has things planned for us as believers
God sovereignty is shown all over the passage.

Godly men or women point others to God.
Boaz points to God.
We don’t point to ourselves, or take the credit. We point to God.
God provides our money, food, and other needs.
We fail to recognize God when He meets our needs.
When God blesses us we are to bless others through that.

Boaz is pointing us to a better redeemer.
Boaz was redeeming Ruth
God comes running after us. He redeemed us.
We don’t come looking for God.
We are like Ruth.
Boaz is direct line to David to Jesus.
When we had nothing to offer God. We had this God that can meet all our needs and saved us.
We don’t deserve this, like Ruth did not deserves Boaz grace.
