Matthew 6:10-11

Pray kingdom focus prayers

We have this idea that God is only good because he gives me what I want.
When we have struggles we feel like God is not good or faithful.
We have to trust God, because his ways are above our ways.
James 4:3
Sometimes we have selfish prayers
God calls us to do things that involve sacrifice. God never said that we will have our best life now.
Maybe the focus of life is not about us, and our prayers should reflect that.
Psalm 37:4, in context
As our desires become his desires, we will live for God and his desires not our own.
How can I pray for the will of God to be done.
Are we praying for eternal things or things that don’t matter.
Luke 12:40
live with a kingdom focus, and that his will be done.
praying for the purpose and plans to be accomplished.
Kingdom focus prayers take the focus off of us, instead are on expanding the kingdom.

what are things that need to happen here on earth like do they heaven
Evangelism exists because worship doesn’t-John Piper
We need to pray for people to come to Christ, so they can worship Jesus like they do in heaven.
The one thing you can’t do in heaven and that’s witness to people.
pray for boldness to go and share the Gospel.
Are you praying focused on your kingdom or Gods Kingdom.

Kingdom focused prayers can only come from those who have experienced the forgiveness of Jesus.
