Matthew Chapter 6:9-13
Teach us to Pray

Give us today our daily bread
How do you feel in the blank, God give us __________
We fall into the lie that If God would give me that, Everything will be okay
God doesn’t give us all our wants, but gives us our needs.
Our antidote to sin is Jesus
An Antidote to total self reliance
Do you recognize that we need God to provide for our daily bread.
God is the provider our provider
Who is your provider, doesn’t mean not to go to work
1st timothy 5:8
God allowed you to have that Job, the ability to work, skills.
Use what God has provided to bring Glory to Him.

An to antidote to Selfishness and Greed
It says give us our daily bread
Be concerned to meet the needs of others.
Its not grocery list check it off prayers
Pray Scripture
The way we pray reflects the way we see Jesus
Laying everything down the cross, being sacrificial
Even when we are faithless he is faithful.
We recognize that God owns everything

An antidote to worrying about the future.
Don’t worry about whats next
Bee a good steward of what God has given us
